Emmett's Café now serves luncheon platters and glasses of wine
Emmett's now serves lunches and snacks throughout the day in the café and in the secluded garden at the back of the shop -
overlooking the old smokehouse where Emmett's ham and bacon are prepared.
You can choose from platters of ham, charcuterie, cheese, and salads - all with tasty pickles, olives and other delicious treats.
And you can enjoy a glass of our own label Spanish wine, or a delicious local apple juice.
Next time you are passing, stop in Peasenhall and enjoy lunch at Emmett's. We look forward to your visit.

Delia says go to Emmett's for Pedro Ximénez
Delia's Happy Christmas has a super special Christmas dessert recipe for vanilla bean ice cream with raisins soaked in Pedro
Ximénes sherry rather like the one Mark has been recommending for the past few years. Emmett's was in the first ever Delia
Smith Christmas Book, and we are delighted that we are still listed at the front of the new book in what Delia describes
as a "list of suppliers who have served us faithfully for years."
Emmett's bacon on ITV's Taste the Nation In March 2009, the ITV
programme Taste the Nation ran a feature on Suffolk. One of the
recipes featured was Lowestoft buttons with
boiled Suffolk Mild Cure bacon, prepared by Martin Blunos.
Naturally the mild-cured bacon used came from Emmett's in Peasenhall.

Date and Lime Chutney
Emmett's is always on the look out for tastes that will complement the subtle flavours of our ham and bacon. Our most recent addition is a
stunning date and lime chutney made especially for us in Sri Lanka. This year we will be adding many new flavours of chutney including ginger, pineapple, and banana.
Sawday says Emmett's ham is "dark, sticky, delicious"
In his new book Go Slow Britain (2008), Alastair Sawday recommends a stop at Emmett's. "Pick up some Black Suffolk ham - dark, sticky, delicious."
