Welcome to Emmett's of Peasenhall, a Rick Stein Food Hero! Suffolk hams and bacon made in a traditional manner. Mild cured, gently smoked or the sweet pickled, a great black Suffolk ham. The production of these all takes place on the premises behind our shop. All the pork we use for our hams and bacon comes from four local Suffolk farms. If passing why not step back in time and come in and see how it is all done!

"Mark Thomas is widely recognised as producing the finest hams in southeast England,using locally reared, free-range Suffolk pork and curing and smoking on the premises at his delightful ,well stocked village shop that has a royal warrant. The hams are a good, deep pink, not too salty - the flavour of the additional 'pickle' comes through beautifully : Vintage Velvet hams are cured with port, others with cider. Available raw or cooked.
