Couldn't be in Suffolk without popping into arguably (?) Britain's best bacon producer, @emmetts_store - there were a few sides gently smoking behind these Suffolk black-cure ribs. Christmas-cure ham bobbing around in a mixture which smelled like mulled cider. Ham and cheddar sandwich with garlic tapenade and Sri Lankan banana chutney. Overexcited to see my name mentioned on the counter. Obsessed with these crystallised oranges.
