Box contains:Approximately 2.5kg of our traditional smoked uncooked gammon joint a bottle of suffolk apple juice and 3-4 suffolk apples a jar of suffolk honey and a handful of dried apricots and figs along with a cooking bag and a piece of string!
How To Cook
Carefully open the cooking bag and place inside the apples (cut in half) the dried apricots and figs. Pour in a mugful of the apple juice and place on a roasting tin. Remove the gammon from its wrapping and place inside the cooking bag on top of the fruit. Add a desert spoon of honey. Tie the bag with the string and place in a pre heated oven at 160c. Cook for 20 minutes per lb until the core temperature is 71c.
If serving hot remove the gammon from the bag along with chutney created or leave tied and place in fridge until cold!
